Theodore Silva Jr., a partner of Holland and Knight, has been reprimanded for various ethical infractions. Among the crimes is a failure to report a cocaine possession conviction. Holland and Knight misled his legal firm about the agreement’s status & then gave it to a client. His warning came over a year after being sacked from Holland & Knight for misconduct.

After reviewing the case record, the jury determined the judge erred when he failed to punish Holland and Knight for their actions. According to the court, the attorney misled the client, the Kolmar Clinic, the Bar Council, and the Hearing Committee. This deception substantially impacted the transaction and threatened his client’s interests. This is why Holland & Knight needed to be reprimanded.

According to the evidence, Holland and Knight paid more than 150,000 dollars to other parties in the ERA than they should have & they absorbed more than 50 hours of Kahn’s work. According to the court, Holland & Knight’s actions also resulted in a nearly $1 million loss of customer funds. Holland and Knight’s caution reflects the court’s finding that their behavior was extreme but arguably justifiable.

He was also known for being close to the managing partner of Holland & Knight. Although there was no apparent cause of death, the death is an untimely loss to the Tampa Bay community.
